Joseph Gordon-Levitt (born February 17, 1981 in Los Angeles, California, to parents Dennis and Jane) occurs as Jewish-American actor best known for his role when Tommy Solomin on 3rd Rock from the Sun (1996-2001). He is the grandson of director Michael Gordon (Pillow Talk, Cyrano de Bergerac). He besides appeared in the films Angels in the Outfield and 10 Things I Hate About You.

Inside 2004 he appeared in the critically acclaimed limited-release film Mysterious Skin by director Gregg Araki which was well received at many major film festivals.
